Annual comprehensive ocular and visual assessments are an important part of preventative health care. Exams are customized to the patients needs.
Contact lens examinations include specialized tests not typically performed during comprehensive eye exam. This is due to the prescription differences.
The Ontario Association of Optometrists recommends a baby’s first eye exam to be done at six months of age, even if no vision problems are apparent.
